A new mixed-use development project has been proposed on a prominent parcel in Manchester, according to documents filed with the town.
The project includes building a new 11,600-square-foot three-story building on a 1.24-acre parcel at 14 North Main St., the former site of a bank branch. Plans for the new L-shaped building include 33 residential units: 10 studios; 18 one-bedroom units; and five two-bedroom apartments.
The project was proposed by 3 Squared LLC, whose principals are Nicholas Martino, Louis Roy Evjen, and Isaac Shweky, state records show.
Five retail spaces will be available on the first floor, totalling 4,250 square feet, and a rooftop patio and garden is also planned.
The plans also include 9,400 square feet of open recreational space, according to documents from the town. The former bank branch still sits on the property, so that would have to be demolished to move forward with the project.
Documents for the proposed project were submitted to Manchester officials in December and January, so the development will be included on upcoming Planning and Zoning Commission agendas for discussion.
